The Marshall Thundering Herd men’s basketball team dominated the 100th all-time meeting with the Morehead State Eagles 76-64 on Monday night before a packed house at the Cam Henderson Center.
“The first half we played well,” fifth-year head coach Dan D’Antoni said. “They’re a tough ball club. They played some tough road trips at Syracuse and another big one at UCONN. They’ve been on the road. It’s hard for them similar to our schedule. That’s about the same team who beat us last year. I think we’re playing better at this stage then we did last year. We just have to keep getting better.”
The Herd is now 6-4 on the season and will begin a five-game run of road games at Akron on December 15 at 2 p.m.
