Huntington, WV – Culture Change Café, in partnership with Do Something Different, is set to launch “Final Fridays: The Happiest Hour” on Friday, September 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This new daytime experience brings a growing nationwide movement—known as soft clubbing—to Huntington for the first time.

Soft clubbing has been gaining momentum in major cities as a refreshing alternative to nightlife. Instead of late nights, strobe lights, and high-energy club scenes, soft clubbing takes place during the day, often blending food, coffee, and art with live music, DJs, and other creative performances. The focus is on community, accessibility, and wellness—offering all the excitement of cultural nightlife in a relaxed, daylight setting.

At Culture Change Café’s Final Fridays: The Happiest Hour, guests can expect a mix of live music, spoken word, DJs, and visual art while enjoying coffee, brunch, and fresh lunch plates. The event also creates an open stage for local creatives to showcase their talents in an inclusive environment.

“Soft clubbing is about reimagining social and creative spaces,” said organizers. “It’s a chance to experience art, music, and connection without the late-night exhaustion. We’re excited to bring that energy to Huntington.”
