A demonstration of how our ancestors made clothing, including sheep-shearing, skirting, scouring, carding/combing, spinning, knitting, weaving, and dyeing! We will have artisans on period equipment at each station! The Farm and Museums will also be open as normal for all our Saturday fun!
Cost: $12 Adults, $10 Seniors, $8 Children
June 9 is also Worldwide Knit in Public Day, so anyone who shows up with knitting needles intending to knit in public will be granted free admission! There will also be beginner knitting lessons (size 7/8 needles and skein of yarn required) so all levels of skill are more than welcome! Call our office (304) 522-1244 to pre-register for classes, limited space available.
